“I graduated university with a degree in Communication Studies and found my first job in publishing. Later, I worked in Public Relations for the fashion industry until one day the word “communication” took on a new meaning for me…I was in London studying to improve my English. It was there that I met a teacher (but not the stereotypical teacher with a book in one hand and a red pen in the other) who changed my perception of communications. I realized that teaching like this was an extraordinary form of communications: effective, creative, and engaging – that’s what I wanted to do too! Goodbye glitter and sequins, hello teaching! In Rome I studied how to teach like the teachers who inspired me. I returned to Milan and finally found the right path for me! Everyday I’m re-inspired when I look into the eyes of my students and see, between looks of frustration and satisfaction, the joy that comes as they learn my language.”
